Mental Health YXE originated as my Instagram page back in June 2017. This platform is central to my efforts in normalizing mental illness, combating stigma, and reassuring individuals that they are not alone. I proudly identify as a Mental Health Advocate.

Over the years, I’ve wrote many articles, participated in media interviews, coordinated community projects, and spoken with audiences across Saskatchewan (and beyond) about mental health, recovery, and reducing stigma. My work has been featured by CBC Radio, CTV News, Global News, Shaw Spotlight, podcasts, newspapers, online publications, and more! Today, I continue this work through public speaking, lived experience consultation, community initiatives, and creating content that encourages honest conversations about mental health. If you’re interested in working together, I’d love to hear from you.

One of the initiatives I’m most proud of is my annual Holiday Gift Drive for the Dubé Centre for Mental Health, which brings together our community to provide thoughtful gifts for people spending the holidays in hospital.

I’ve also been known to sell stickers, buttons, resin art, postcards, and oh so much more at fun local pop-up markets! Check my Instagram to see where I might be a vendor next!

I enjoy photography, Star Wars, Care Bears, peanut butter, and naps. I’m a maker of memes.

You can read a bit more about my story in the FAQs.
